LOCALI Made Open Studio – Pilot Episode

Published on May 11, 2019 by localimade

Despite the California cliches of “Surf’s up Dude”, Hollywood glamour and visions of brainiac techies roaming Silicon Valley (okay that one is true), there’s a local side to explore.

This pilot episode is a budget-conscience effort to join the grassroots movement to promote local California artisans. LOCALI Made Open Studio travels to different “CALI” locations within the California boundaries to discover local artists, makers, foods, musicians and a variety of California talent. Once a destination and venue are chosen, a talent call is announced, vetting takes place and filming begins.

This show is designed to highlight and promote California artists, makers, chefs, vintners and musicians in a variety of California locations as well as connect local talent with bigger commercial opportunities to grow their business and drive foot traffic for local California business venues. We invite locals to “Go Ahead, Toot Your Own Dang Horn!”

Each location presents California local treasures, beauty and the stuff Californian’s are made of…our own kind of sassy. LOCALI Made was founded to connect the local California artist, designer, maker, musician, winery, restaurant entrepreneur with their soulmate; the shopper or retailer, tourist or foodie that truly desires to behold something extremely special and of course, locally-made.

Our business model is based on the principle of encouraging the creator/designer and promoting and sharing their products with those that appreciate the California entrepreneurial spirit. We love the local designer and cherish their attention to detail. We want to encourage and inspire these creative souls and bring joy to their lives while they prosper. While they are busy creating, we want to come alongside them and provide avenues of opportunity for their products.

So buckle up and join us for this adventure as we take you to the LOCALI Made side of town.
